Travel Turkey : Modern Turkey is country of 780,576 square kilometres, somewhat larger than the state of Texas or France and Great Britain combined. It is bordered by the Mediterranean, Aegean, Black Sea, by Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Nahcivan, Iran, Iraq and Syria about three percent of country in Europe. South and east Dardanelles, The Sea of Marmara and Bosphorus stretches the peninsula known as Asia Minor or Anatolia. Eight thousand two hundred ten kilometres of its border are shores lined with fertile plains: these rise quickly to high, dry, central plataue where nineteen mountains incluiding Mt. Ararat, over 3500 meters high. The country has three main temparete climates: Mediterranean in the south, Black Sea in the north and steppe throughout most of Anatolia. There are four naturel lakes: Van, Tuz, Beysehir, Egirdir. Two large man - made lakes on Euphrates River back up behind the Keban and Ataturk dams. A number of its rivers well known in antiquity Euphrates, Tigris, Halys, Araxes, Sangarius, Meander and Pyramus.
The capital of Turkey Ankara located in Central Anatolia. In 1950 the population is numbered about 20 million: by the turn of century it is estimated that the population will be 70 million.More than fifty percent of the lobar force is engaged in agriculture. The main cash crops include tobacco (Turkey is the world's sixth largest producer) cereals, cotton, olive oil, mohair, wool, silk, figs, raisins, nuts, fruits, opium, gum and sugar. Antimony, borate, copper and chrome are minded in sufficient quantities to be exported. In recent years a number of industries have become important in the national economy. These include food and beverages, clothing and cloth manufacture, chemicals, ceramics and motor vehicles.

Tour Plan : (14 Days)
Day 1:
• Arrival to Istanbul airport. Transfer to hotel in Istanbul.
Day 2:
• Depart for city tour in old part of Istanbul.
• Visit Blue Mosque,
• Hippodrome,
• Obelisk,
• Hagia Sophia,
• Topkapi Palace,
• Grand Bazaar.
• Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3:
• Depart to Canakkale.
• Visit Legendary Ancient City of Troy.
• Overnight in Canakkale.
Day 4:
• Drive to Bergama and visit Pergamon(Acropolis & Asklepion).
• Drive to Kusadasi and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 5:
• Visit Ephesus Ancient City,
• House of Virgin Mary,
• Temple of Artemis,
• end of the tour drive to Pamukkale and overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 6:
• Depart for Fethiye.
On the way visit Saklikent Canyon and Tilos Ancient City.
• Overnight in Fethiye.
Day 7:
• Departure from Fethiye Marina around 11 am.There are opportunities to swim at Turunc Bay or Karavaoren, before lunch is served. Overnight is spent in St. Nicholas Island with the ruins of old settlement and the ancient church that is said to be the first church where Santa Clause first preached.
Day 8:
• Breakfast is served on deck before continuing the cruise for Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz are and directly to Cleopatra's Bay or Merdivenli Bay. The overnight will be spent either in Sarsala or Tasyaka.
Day 9:
• Sailing to Tershane (Docyard) Islands to swim,snorkel or just laze in the sunshine. After lunch, cruise to Yassicalar (Flat Island) and stop in Red Island or Samanlik Bay. At last overnight is spent in Fethiye Harbour.
Day 10:
• It is time to say farewell to the gulet and crew around 8.30 am.
• Depart for Pamukkale.
• Visit Hierapolis Ancient City
• Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 11:
• Depart for Konya
• Visit Mevlana museum,
• Sultanhan Caravanserai,
• Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 12:
• Derinkuyu Underground City.
• Avanos (pottery makers town),
• Overnight in Cappadocia
Day 13:
• Visit Goreme Open Air Museum,
• Uchisar Citadel,
• Pasabag,
• Dervent.
• Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 14:
Transfer to Kayseri Airport to catch early flight to Istanbul.

Itinerary :
The itinerary will be followed as closely as possible. Celsus Travel reserves the right to make adjustments or changes based on unexpected unsafe conditions, safety problems, health or weather hazards which may be encountered on our trip.
How to make a reservation :
A 10% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
Payment :
Full payment for each trip is due 6 weeks before departure.
Cancellations :
If you wish or must cancel your trip the following cancellation fees apply :
One month or more before departure, 100% of fees not paid to hotels, airfares or transport will be refunded minus the deposit. Within 1 month to 1 week 60% refunded minus the deposit and minus any fees paid out in advance. Within one week, there is no refund.
